"It is a very pleasant hotel, with good rooms and good food at very reasonable prices. A popular bar, which is the easily the best of the 3 pubs in this small town, with good real ales and choice of spirits."
"We've stayed here many times, and, enjoy every moment of every visit. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are lovely and very knowledgeable about the area, and, the food is brilliant. Fantastic breakfasts, very filling bar snacks and a lovely evening menu. The different night themes are really good value too, curry night, steak night etc. We've also enjoyed the wine and cheese evening too, great fun to sample the produce at really reasonable prices."

Most of the meat on the menu is from local butchers in Silverdale and Arnside.
