At the Cross Keys the resident chef, keeps an eye on the kitchens.
An interesting traditional bar menu with such tasty old fashioned favourites as their own steak and ale pie, minted lamb henrie, currys, snacks, salads, roast gammon and quality, locally reared, English beef.
Most of the meat on the menu is from local butchers in Silverdale and Arnside.
Of course vegetarians are not forgotten - there is always a varied selection available plus a tasty menu of light bites, salads and starters.
Puddings are a Cross Keys speciality with the sort Grandma used to make including treacle sponge and custard and the local favourite - sticky toffee.
